At Kanakuk’s K-Seven, non-stop action from morning to night helps Kampers make the most of the greatest week on earth. Your child will experience an action-packed sampling of all that Kanakuk has to offer and grow in knowledge that will impact them for a lifetime!
K-Seven is an overnight summer camp for kids ages 12-18 that combines the non-stop action of a sports camp with opportunities to worship and get closer to God with new friends from all over the country. Guided in their week-long journey at Kanakuk by hand-selected Christian college athletes, your child will get to fly down ziplines, practice their swing in our batting cages, go down water slides, climb up our climbing wall, and more--each day's events ring with the message that each life has a purpose.
Also at K-Seven Kampers age 16 - 18 have the opportunity to participate in a dynamic faith-training program called Mi:7. This program emphasizes servant-leadership and Christian worldview training, and focuses on preparing these Kampers to be servant leaders in their high school and in college. You can learn more about Mi:7 here.

What are tribes?
Tribes are groups that our Kampers are put in during their time at Kanakuk. They are used for devotionals and competition. Once assigned a tribe, your Kamper will remain in that tribe every year they are a Kamper. There are four total tribes, two for girls and two for boys. The girl tribes are Kiowa and Kickapoo. The boy tribes are Cherokee and Choctaw.

When you arrive at K-Seven on Opening Day, you'll be greeted by cheers and smiles everywhere you look! As part of our Kanakuk family, we want you to feel welcomed and honored from the moment you step foot on the kamp grounds. Here are a few things to expect when you arrive:
Parents are welcome to visit their childs cabin to visit with his/her counselors and help them get settled in. This is a great opportunity to meet and encourage the Godly men and women who will be serving and mentoring your child.
Our Opening Day ceremonies are intentionally designed to be high-energy and exciting. We know that some Kampers - especially our youngest Kampers - can sometimes be tentative about a first time summer camp experience. You should know that we design this day to help keep your child engaged and active (to help combat any hesitations), and that our staff are sensitive to your Kamper and any first day jitters they might be experiencing.
Closing Ceremonies is a “Don’t Want To Miss” Family event!
We invite you to be here for the exciting end to your Kampers term and meet your Kampers counselors and Leadership team.
A few tips from our parents:
We'll have an exciting time of reuniting and fellowship, and your Kamper will be ready to return home encouraged in their faith, and strengthened in their confidence!
